Humanity will expand off of this earth and set up colonies on other planets, which will cause the species as a whole to evolve separately into different, more specialized breeds. Spanning millions and billions of years, this will cause homo sapiens to be one of the most widespread, resilient, and long lasting primogenitor species in the universe.
